Statement of Use

Description

If you have filed an Intent to Use trademark (i.e. you filed a trademark application before you began using it), and are now using it in commerce, you are required to file a Statement of Use with the USPTO. You will need to show the USPTO that you are using the name in commerce in conjunction with the goods/services that you filed the trademark under. Typically a photo (or screen shot if it is a service mark) clearly showing the trademark name being used with goods/services will work. You will also need to provide a date of first use. This is the date that you first used the name in commerce. $400 total ($300 legal fee and $100 filing fee).
